so i am getting a lot of people saying how small i am and they cant believe i am eight months pregnant in July. no way, do you eat? are you sure everything is ok? have you gotten bigger at all? etc. and the laughing, and the stories of how HUGE they got. thats wonderful people make fun of me for being small, well if i walked up to a pregnant lady and said holy cow you are big. how fat are you now? are you sure something isn't wrong?, are you having triplets?, etc it would be offensive would it not?  and i have not and will not ever do that. so ha just to prove to myself that i have grown quite a bit here is a picture of me on my wedding day just before we went into the temple. and yes i am thin and happy to be so. never ever had a problem with weight in my life and apparently not in pregnancy either. and then there is one of me as of today June 26 almost at the eight month july 1 mark. so yes i have grown and yes my baby is healthy. sorry im not fat ill try harder.

HERE IT IS! UNLESS THIS BABY COMES OUT WITH GIRL PARTS HIS NAME WILL BE PETER JOSEPH ABRAHAM KNIGHT. HERE IS WHY

1. FIRST NAME IS SIMPLY A NAME WE LIKE, BUT HAPPENS TO BE IN MY FAMILY HISTORY I BELIEVE ON MY PAPPY'S SIDE A LITTLE WAYS BACK. PETER WAS A RIGHTEOUS APOSTLE OF THE LORD AND WE CAN ONLY HOPE OUR SON WILL FOLLOW AND HAVE FAITH THAT EMULATES THAT OF THE BIBLICAL PETER.


2. JOSEPH BECAUSE WE WILL HAVE OUR SONS EACH HAVE TWO MIDDLE NAMES AND THE FIRST WILL BE A FAMILY NAME, AND SON NUMBER ONE SEEMS FITTING TO NAME AFTER HIS FATHER, SO JOSEPH.


3. ABRAHAM IS ALSO A BIBLICAL NAME BECAUSE WE WANT OUR KIDS TO HAVE SOMEONE TO LOOK UP TO IN THEIR NAME. WE WANT THEM TO HAVE ATTRIBUTES TO LIKEN THEMSELVES TO AND ASPIRE TO BE LIKE. ABRAHAM DISPLAYED GREAT FAITH AND OBEDIENCE. 


4. KNIGHT, OBVIOUSLY NOT LIKE I COULD CHOOSE ANOTHER NAME FOR HIS LAST NAME. HOWEVER KNOWING MY FATHER IN LAW AND HIS FAMILY, AND HEARING ABOUT THE MAN HIS FATHER, JOE'S GRANDFATHER WAS, I AM PROUD TO HAVE THIS BE MY SONS LAST NAME. I DID NOT GET TO KNOW GRANDPA KNIGHT, SINCE HE PASSED AWAY MANY YEARS AGO, BUT FROM WHAT I HEAR HE WAS A WONDERFUL MAN AND LOVED HIS FAMILY WITH HIS WHOLE HEART. 

WE CHOSE TO HAVE TWO MIDDLE NAMES BECAUSE IN MY FAMILY EACH OF THE BOYS HAVE TWO MIDDLE NAMES, AND JUST SO HAPPENS JOE HAS TWO MIDDLE NAMES AS WELL SO WE PLAN ON CONTINUING THE TRADITION. 

I am so grateful that the long dresses are in style this summer because they are the most comfortable thing for me to wear right now. and stores actually have a nice variety of them and i can wear them to school. so here is a baby bump picture. Dont even say i am so small because 
1. i know i am small  
2. i tried for years to have this baby so saying how un pregnant i look is disheartening. ha ha but yes i know for 7 months i am not that big at all. 

What have the knights been up to? Being pregnant it can seem like time is either crawling by or at other times flying quickly. So in the shifting time craziness that has been the past five months here are a few things we have been doing. 

Joe- getting closer to finishing school, classes are getting more complex and exciting, like neuro biology, which means surgery and brain dissection and experiments on rats. It is very exciting and demanding all at the same time. Along with school is two callings with the young men in our ward, as presidency secretary and also priest advisor. After this semester is over it is back to work at the landscaping company for long 14 hour days, muddy boots, and sore muscles. 

Emma- graduation from BYU-IDAHO is just less than two months away. The 20th of july I will be done with my degree, finally. While this is very exciting it is also hard since this means two science classes, and one being chemistry which takes a lot of time and prayer to do well in. working as well means im in a constant state of exhaustion, but it is worth it to get to graduation. I was also asked to be a speaker at the graduation ceremony for my department since as they told me I am in the top of my class. We settled on me reading a scripture to open the ceremony since the long standing just three weeks before baby comes might be a little much, so I am excited about the end of this semester. After im done it will be baby mode 100%. 

Baby Peter- our little boy is growing every day bigger and bigger. Each doctor’s appointment the doctor tells us both momma and baby are A+ students, doing exactly what they should be at this stage. He has a strong loud heart beat and loves to move around. We are thinking either a runner or cyclist since his feet are always kicking. We are at the 7 month mark and will meet at the end of august. So far I think we have a lot of the essentials set for him. Car seat, stroller, play pen, lots of clothes especially the soft fleece sacks. Both grammas have sent us lots of clothes and blankets and books. We are all excited to be a family forever and spend a lifetime getting to know each other. 

We thought we should test some of his things before he is born.
