I am so grateful that the long dresses are in style this summer because they are the most comfortable thing for me to wear right now. and stores actually have a nice variety of them and i can wear them to school. so here is a baby bump picture. Dont even say i am so small because
1. i know i am small
2. i tried for years to have this baby so saying how un pregnant i look is disheartening. ha ha but yes i know for 7 months i am not that big at all.

What have the knights been up to? Being pregnant it can seem like time is either crawling by or at other times flying quickly. So in the shifting time craziness that has been the past five months here are a few things we have been doing.

Joe- getting closer to finishing school, classes are getting more complex and exciting, like neuro biology, which means surgery and brain dissection and experiments on rats. It is very exciting and demanding all at the same time. Along with school is two callings with the young men in our ward, as presidency secretary and also priest advisor. After this semester is over it is back to work at the landscaping company for long 14 hour days, muddy boots, and sore muscles.

Emma- graduation from BYU-IDAHO is just less than two months away. The 20th of july I will be done with my degree, finally. While this is very exciting it is also hard since this means two science classes, and one being chemistry which takes a lot of time and prayer to do well in. working as well means im in a constant state of exhaustion, but it is worth it to get to graduation. I was also asked to be a speaker at the graduation ceremony for my department since as they told me I am in the top of my class. We settled on me reading a scripture to open the ceremony since the long standing just three weeks before baby comes might be a little much, so I am excited about the end of this semester. After im done it will be baby mode 100%.

Baby Peter- our little boy is growing every day bigger and bigger. Each doctor’s appointment the doctor tells us both momma and baby are A+ students, doing exactly what they should be at this stage. He has a strong loud heart beat and loves to move around. We are thinking either a runner or cyclist since his feet are always kicking. We are at the 7 month mark and will meet at the end of august. So far I think we have a lot of the essentials set for him. Car seat, stroller, play pen, lots of clothes especially the soft fleece sacks. Both grammas have sent us lots of clothes and blankets and books. We are all excited to be a family forever and spend a lifetime getting to know each other.

We thought we should test some of his things before he is born.

NOW YA KNOW

So this is a test. i know i dont blog much and i also know i am horrible at keeping in touch with people. what can i say i just enjoy my select few folks and unfortunately for the rest of the world those folks are my family. i realized today while reading i think its because i always assume everyone hates me or strongly dislikes me so i feel like i am doing them a favor by leaving them alone. whatever it doesnt matter because like i said this is a test, to see how many people 1. know about my blog and 2. actually read it. i dont suspect it is many and thats ok, really i am just curious. so if you are reading this you will soon know our big family news, Joseph and Emma knight are having a baby! i am due the end of august and thrilled beyond explanation. so there ya go world privileged information. and my personal witness that prayers are answered, we tried and prayed for a baby for 2 years and in the end it was a fertility drug that did the trick. so even though we are waiting to officially announce it if ya ever read my blog you now know.

Family, Friends and Fire

so we have had a fun weekend for sure. henry kate and levi came here to visit and get henry and kates stuff from storage. so we went to church sunday levi wasnt too impressed with the not so friendly young men in our ward but oh well. after church we had supper with our neighbors tony and audra and their kids erinn and jayne. we played some games and then went outside for a campfire and roaster marchmallows. henry had broke his table earlier that day so we burned it and other brush we had set aside to burn. jayne- 6 months loved playing with kate and erinn thought levi was so funny. always enjoy the pics and be jealous cuz it was sooo fun.

My birthday was Sunday the 10th. since it was a Sunday we didn't do anything crazy or too active but we had a wonderful day at church and then had some friends over for cake and ice cream. my good friend Ashley brought angel food cakes, strawberries, and homemade whipped cream and it was amazing!!!! so i took this picture so my mom could see her girl on her birthday, after all i owe her my life. so thanks mom for getting me here 22 years ago. i love ya. and thanks Joe for the wonderful birthday i love spending them with you and always will. Jayne our neighbors little baby girl was there too and at one point we looked over and she had her finger right on her nose so it looked like she was picking her nose. it was sooo funny!!! and she is adorable so i had to post the picture for all to enjoy.

BLESSING WE ENJOY

JOSEPH AND I HAVE RECENTLY REALIZED WE HAVE SO MANY BLESSINGS THAT WE HAVE GOT TO BE SOME OF THE LUCKIEST FOLKS IN THE WORLD. WE HAVE EACH OTHER FOR ALL TIME, WE WERE BOTH RAISED IN HOMES FILLED TO THE BRIM WITH LOVE AND LAUGHTER, WE LIVE IN A BEAUTIFUL HOME WITH SOME VERY GOOD FRIENDS LIVING ABOVE US, WE ARE ABLE TO ATTEND ONE OF THE LORD'S UNIVERSITIES , FAMILY SURROUNDS AND UPLIFTS US DAILY, AND WE HAVE THE BLESSED ASSURANCE OF THE TRUTHFULLNESS OF THE GOSPEL AND THE SHARED BLESSING OF THE ATONMENT. WE SURELY HOPE OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS KNOW HOW MUCH WE LOVE THEM AND HOW APPRECIATIVE WE ARE TO THEM ALL.

I THOUGHT OF THIS WHEN I HAD MY ONE AND ONLY NECKLACE THAT WAS A GIFT TO ME FROM MY AUNT BREAK AND I THOUGHT HOW FOOLISH I WAS TO NOT TREAT IT WITH THE CARE AND CAREFULNESS IT DESERVES AND I WANT TO BE SURE MY OTHER GIFTS IN LIFE ARE NOT BROKEN LIKE MY BEAUTIFUL NECKLACE WAS. NOW I JUST HOPE I CAN BUY A NEW CHAIN FOR IT AND WEAR IT AGAIN. LOL MY NECK FEELS EMPTY AND ALL MY SHIRTS DONT LOOK AS GOOD WITHOUT IT.

P.S. HERE ARE SOME FUN PICS WE FOUND THE OTHER DAY

JUST BEFORE HIRAM LEFT ON HIS MISSION WE GOT TO SEE HIM. AND HE GOT TO SEE THE FARM WE LIVED ON. IT WAS FUN

I ALWAYS KNEW I WANTED A HUSBAND WHO COULD PICK ME UP AND CARRY ME AROUND AFTER A LONG DAY OF RIDING ROLLER COASTERS. HA HA THIS WAS IN CALIFORNIA'S GREAT AMERICA. WE HAD SUCH A FUN DAY AND IT WAS GREAT TO HAVE JOE CARRY ME ON HIS BACK A LITTLE SINCE RIDING RIDES CAN BE EXHAUSTING.
