Red Robin gives you a free burger when you join their email club so before henry and kate left for the summer we all went to eat and celebrate me getting older. not like getting old is fun but eating out is. it was also a special supper for henry and joe as they had both finished school for the semester and it always feels amazing to be done with classes and homework for a while. so enjoy the pics

BLESSING WE ENJOY

JOSEPH AND I HAVE RECENTLY REALIZED WE HAVE SO MANY BLESSINGS THAT WE HAVE GOT TO BE SOME OF THE LUCKIEST FOLKS IN THE WORLD. WE HAVE EACH OTHER FOR ALL TIME, WE WERE BOTH RAISED IN HOMES FILLED TO THE BRIM WITH LOVE AND LAUGHTER, WE LIVE IN A BEAUTIFUL HOME WITH SOME VERY GOOD FRIENDS LIVING ABOVE US, WE ARE ABLE TO ATTEND ONE OF THE LORD'S UNIVERSITIES , FAMILY SURROUNDS AND UPLIFTS US DAILY, AND WE HAVE THE BLESSED ASSURANCE OF THE TRUTHFULLNESS OF THE GOSPEL AND THE SHARED BLESSING OF THE ATONMENT. WE SURELY HOPE OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS KNOW HOW MUCH WE LOVE THEM AND HOW APPRECIATIVE WE ARE TO THEM ALL.

I THOUGHT OF THIS WHEN I HAD MY ONE AND ONLY NECKLACE THAT WAS A GIFT TO ME FROM MY AUNT BREAK AND I THOUGHT HOW FOOLISH I WAS TO NOT TREAT IT WITH THE CARE AND CAREFULNESS IT DESERVES AND I WANT TO BE SURE MY OTHER GIFTS IN LIFE ARE NOT BROKEN LIKE MY BEAUTIFUL NECKLACE WAS. NOW I JUST HOPE I CAN BUY A NEW CHAIN FOR IT AND WEAR IT AGAIN. LOL MY NECK FEELS EMPTY AND ALL MY SHIRTS DONT LOOK AS GOOD WITHOUT IT.

JUST BEFORE HIRAM LEFT ON HIS MISSION WE GOT TO SEE HIM. AND HE GOT TO SEE THE FARM WE LIVED ON. IT WAS FUN

I ALWAYS KNEW I WANTED A HUSBAND WHO COULD PICK ME UP AND CARRY ME AROUND AFTER A LONG DAY OF RIDING ROLLER COASTERS. HA HA THIS WAS IN CALIFORNIA'S GREAT AMERICA. WE HAD SUCH A FUN DAY AND IT WAS GREAT TO HAVE JOE CARRY ME ON HIS BACK A LITTLE SINCE RIDING RIDES CAN BE EXHAUSTING.

THIS WAS THE COW FEEDING TRACTOR AT OUR OLD PLACE. IT ALWAYS SMELLED THERE BUT IT WAS FUN TO DRIVE THROUGH THE SWARMS OF COWS WITH JOE THROWING OFF BALES OF HAY. GOOD TIMES

THE KNIGHTS HAVE A NEW CASTLE

well most everyone knows by now but we have a new apartment and have been in it for about one month. we LOVE it! it is much larger and prettier. one of our favorite things was we got to pick out our own furniture this time so since i dont buy anything unless it rocks we now have a small red rockin couch that i love like it my own child, but not really and id trade it for a baby at this very moment. the neighbors are very very nice and their cute little girl is soo funny and their baby came home from the hospital the day we moved in so needless to say she is small and very cute. it has amazed me how much i feel like we have a home now and not just a temporary dwelling till school is done. this blessing is one i thank my Heavenly Father for every day. aside from the new place not much is new Joe is school right now but im off track till april and my only big plans are to make a huge bean bag chair, read the book of mormon again and exercise for the first time on a consistant basis. i figure if i work half as hard as joe does at rock climbing i can be lookin good in a few months. well thats all and pics will follow but i have to retrain myself on blogging before pics appear too.

moving day! not, moving day is not exciting for many reasons, one its snowing, two thanks to our buick we have to make like 10 trips, three its freezing cold outside, four we are moving just for two months so we will have to do this again real soon, five we are not near all packed because my husband thinks we should wait and pack before we load the boxes( i love him but this was not one of his best ideas), six i have moves like 10 times in my life and i dont remember ever thinking, gee this is really fun i wanna do it again, seven once our stuff is out i have to clean like a mad woman. but moving is exciting for one really ver wonderful reason, i get to move with joseph. now this may seem trivial to single or long married folks but us kinda newlyweds think it is just great to be moving together as it symbolizes us moving always toward our goals as one. we are never to part and thats a pretty darn good feeling. so bring on the boxes, newspaper, tape, cold and anything else moving can bring because joseph and emma can do anything!

SEE HOW COLD WE LOOK. THE BOYS HAD NICE NEW SWEATERS TO KEEP EM WARM BUT THE GIRLS OPTED FOR JUST TURTLENECKS AND FROZE THE WHOLE TIME.

EVERYONES FAVORITE, THE TREE IN BACK OF US WAS POKEY THOUGH AND I WAS GLAD I WAS IN FRONT.
